Privacy Policy
Operated by Inovetix Inc.
Effective Date: 03 September, 2026
Version 1.1 (revised draft)

Olden: AI Photo Restoration (“Olden,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is a mobile application operated by Inovetix Inc. Olden provides AI-powered tools for restoring, enhancing, colorizing, cleaning, and creatively transforming photographs.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Olden processes, why it is processed, when information is shared with service providers, how photographs are handled, and the choices available to users, including rights available under United States privacy laws.
1. Company and Contact Information
Olden is operated by Inovetix Inc.
For questions about this Privacy Policy, privacy requests, or concerns about the handling of your information, please contact:
Inovetix Inc.
Email: privacy@inovetix.com
Mailing address: 8 The Green, Ste A, Dover, DE 19901, United States
2. Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the Olden mobile application, available for iOS through the Apple App Store and for Android through Google Play.
It does not apply to the Inovetix website or other Inovetix products and services, which are governed by the Inovetix Privacy Policy available at https://inovetix.com/privacy. It also does not apply to third-party websites, applications, or services that Olden links to or relies upon; those services are governed by their own privacy policies.
3. Information You Provide to Olden
Olden is designed to process photographs selected by you. Depending on the features you use, you may provide:
- Photographs selected from your device’s photo gallery;
- Photographs captured using your device camera, where camera functionality is offered;
- Images submitted for AI processing;
- Information you voluntarily provide when contacting support; and
- Information related to purchases or subscriptions made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, where required to provide paid functionality.
Olden does not require you to create an account or provide personal information merely to select and process a photograph unless a particular feature or service specifically requires it.
4. Photo and Image Processing
The core functionality of Olden involves processing user-selected images.
Olden currently provides features including:
- Memory Fusion;
- Background Removal;
- Retro Effects;
- Fix Old Photo;
- Enhancer;
- Denoise;
- Colorize.
For the AI-powered processing features that use an external API, the photograph selected by you is transmitted to the relevant processing infrastructure so that the requested operation can be performed and the resulting image can be returned to your device.
The image is used to provide the feature you requested. We do not need access to your entire photo library merely because you use Olden. The App requests access to photos or the camera only when that access is relevant to a feature you choose to use.
5. Nero AI as Our Image-Processing Provider
Olden uses Nero AI as a third-party technology provider for certain AI image-processing functions.
When you use a feature that requires Nero AI processing, the selected image is sent through the applicable Nero AI API so that the requested image operation can be completed. Depending on the feature, Nero AI may process the submitted image and related technical information necessary to return the generated result.
Nero AI is used as a service provider for Olden’s requested image-processing functionality. Your photograph is not sent to Nero AI simply because Olden is installed; transmission occurs when you choose a feature that requires remote AI processing.
Nero AI’s handling of data is also governed by its own privacy policy, available at https://www.nero.com/eng/corp-legal/privacy.php?vlang=en. We select and use the service for the purpose of providing Olden’s image-processing functionality.
6. AI Model Training
We do not use your photographs to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models. Images submitted through Olden for AI-powered processing are used solely to provide the requested image-processing functionality.
Our image-processing provider, Nero AI, states that images submitted through its API are not used to train its artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
We do not sell your photographs or use them for advertising or unrelated commercial purposes.
7. What Happens to Your Photo
When you select an image for a feature requiring remote processing, Olden may transmit the image to the relevant server or API provider.
The general processing flow is:
- You select or capture a photograph.
- Olden sends the selected image to the required processing service.
- The service processes the image according to the operation you selected.
- The processed result is returned to Olden.
- Olden makes the result available to you.
Olden does not use your photographs to create a personal identity profile, identify you, or build a database of people appearing in photographs. We do not sell your photographs or other personal information, and we do not share them for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under applicable U.S. state privacy laws.
8. Retention of Submitted Images
Olden is designed to minimize retention of user-submitted photographs. Images may be temporarily processed or cached by Olden or its processing infrastructure when necessary to complete an image-processing request, troubleshoot an operation, maintain security, or deliver the requested result.
We do not retain submitted photographs longer than reasonably necessary for the relevant service operation.
Images transmitted to Nero AI for processing are temporarily stored by Nero AI only to the extent technically required to provide its services and are generally retained for no longer than 24 hours, after which they are deleted from Nero AI’s processing infrastructure. Nero AI states that uploaded files and generated results are automatically deleted within 24 hours.
We do not use submitted photographs for advertising purposes.
9. Facial Analysis and Biometric Information
Some AI image-processing features in Olden may process images containing faces or facial features when necessary to provide requested restoration, enhancement, or other image-processing functionality.
Olden does not use facial processing to identify individuals, authenticate identities, create facial-recognition profiles, track individuals, or build a facial-recognition database.
Where facial features are analyzed as part of an image-processing operation, such processing is performed solely to provide the requested functionality. Olden does not intentionally collect or retain facial recognition profiles, faceprints, or facial-geometry templates for the purpose of identifying individuals.
Images submitted to our third-party image-processing provider, Nero AI, may be processed using its facial-image processing capabilities where required by the selected feature. Nero AI’s API documentation confirms that certain services can perform facial restoration and facial detection. Nero AI states that content or processed content is only temporarily stored to the extent technically required to provide its services, generally for no more than 24 hours.
We do not use facial information obtained through the App for advertising, tracking, or unrelated commercial purposes.
10. Photo Library and Camera Permissions
Olden may request access to your photo library when you choose to import a photograph. If a camera-based feature is available, Olden may request camera access when you choose to capture an image.
On iOS, you can grant Olden access to selected photos only, rather than your full library. On Android, Olden uses the system photo picker where available, which allows you to share individual photos without granting access to your full photo library.
These permissions are used to provide the corresponding functionality. Olden does not require unrestricted access to your entire photo library to perform an image-processing request.
You can manage or revoke photo and camera permissions through your device settings. If you deny a permission, the feature requiring that permission may not be available.
11. Technical and Diagnostic Information
To operate reliably, Olden or its supporting services may process limited technical information, such as:
- Device model and operating system version;
- Olden app version;
- App configuration information;
- IP address or other network information;
- Date and time of requests;
- Processing status or error information;
- Crash reports and diagnostic information; and
- Technical identifiers used by supporting services.
This information may be used to maintain security, diagnose failures, prevent abuse, monitor service reliability, and improve Olden.
12. Analytics and Product Improvement
Olden does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, such as Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, RevenueCat, or similar analytics services.
Olden uses Apple’s StoreKit framework to process and manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. StoreKit provides Apple-managed transaction and subscription information necessary to complete purchases, verify entitlements, and provide access to purchased services.
We do not use StoreKit as a third-party analytics service, and Olden does not independently use purchase or subscription information to create advertising profiles or track users across other apps or websites.
Olden does not use photographs submitted for restoration, enhancement, colorization, denoising, or other image-processing features to create advertising profiles or for advertising purposes.
Where Apple provides developers with aggregated App Analytics or related information about app performance or usage, such information is provided and controlled by Apple under Apple’s applicable privacy practices.
13. Purchases and Subscriptions
Olden may offer subscriptions, credit-based features, or other paid functionality.
Payments for purchases made through the App are processed by the Apple App Store. Olden does not receive or store your complete payment card or other payment instrument details through Apple’s standard in-app purchase process.
We may receive limited transaction and purchase information necessary to verify purchases, restore transactions, determine your subscription or purchase entitlements, provide purchased credits or features, prevent fraud or misuse, and maintain necessary transaction records.
Olden uses Apple’s StoreKit framework to process in-app purchases and subscriptions and to determine the purchase entitlements associated with your Apple account.
Olden does not use a third-party subscription-management service such as RevenueCat. We do not use purchase or subscription information for advertising purposes or to create advertising profiles.
14. Third-Party Service Providers
Olden may rely on third-party providers to operate specific technical functions.
These may include AI image processing, cloud infrastructure, analytics, crash diagnostics, payment or subscription services, security, and other technical services.
Currently, Nero AI is used as an external AI image-processing provider for applicable Olden features.
Third-party providers may receive information only when necessary to perform the service for which they are engaged. We do not authorize providers to use Olden user information for purposes unrelated to the services they provide to us, subject to their own legal and contractual obligations.
15. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information or user photographs, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under applicable U.S. state privacy laws.
Information may be shared with service providers when necessary to operate Olden, including the transmission of selected photographs to Nero AI for features that require Nero AI processing.
Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with applicable law or a valid legal request;
- Protect the security and integrity of Olden;
- Prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized use;
- Protect the rights, property, or safety of users, Inovetix Inc., or others; or
- Support a corporate transaction such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of relevant assets, subject to applicable law.
16. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information handled through Olden against unauthorized access, alteration, misuse, disclosure, or destruction. Where photographs are transmitted for remote processing, transport-layer encryption (HTTPS/TLS) is used.
No internet connection, API, cloud service, or electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security. Accordingly, we cannot promise that information will always be completely secure.
17. International Processing
Because Olden may use third-party infrastructure located in different countries, photographs and technical information may be processed outside your country of residence, including in the United States.
Where required by applicable law, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers and require service providers to handle information in accordance with applicable contractual and legal requirements.
18. Children's Privacy
Olden is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age.
If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us at privacy@inovetix.com.
19. Your Privacy Rights (General)
Depending on your country or region, applicable law may give you rights concerning your personal information. These may include, where applicable:
- Accessing personal information;
- Requesting correction of inaccurate information;
- Requesting deletion;
- Restricting or objecting to certain processing;
- Requesting data portability; and
- Withdrawing consent where processing is based on consent.
To make a privacy request, contact Inovetix Inc. at privacy@inovetix.com. We may need to verify the request before fulfilling it. Certain information may need to be retained when required by law or reasonably necessary for security, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal claims.
20. US State Privacy Rights
If you are a resident of California or another US state with a comprehensive privacy law (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and Oregon), you may have the following rights with respect to your personal information, subject to the conditions and exceptions of the applicable law:
- The right to know and access the personal information we collect, use, and disclose;
- The right to request correction of inaccurate personal information;
- The right to request deletion of your personal information;
- The right to opt out of the sale of personal information, the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects (note: we do not sell or share personal information as defined under these laws, and we do not engage in such profiling);
- The right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information (we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require an opt-out under the California Privacy Rights Act); and
- The right not to be discriminated against or retaliated against for exercising any of these rights.
For purposes of these laws, the categories of personal information Olden collects are: photographs and images you choose to submit for processing; identifiers and device information (such as IP address, device model, and technical identifiers used by supporting services); commercial information (purchase and subscription records); and app usage information (where analytics services are included).
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@inovetix.com. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf where the law permits; we may require the agent to demonstrate authorization and may require you to verify your identity directly.
Olden does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, as the App is not a website. Where applicable law requires recognition of opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control, we honor them; because we do not sell or share personal information, no opt-out is required to prevent such activity.
21. Your Control Over Device Permissions
You can manage Olden’s access to device resources through your operating-system settings. Depending on your device and operating-system version, you may be able to control access to:
- Photos;
- Camera;
Olden respects the permissions granted through the operating system. Restricting a permission may prevent the related feature from operating normally.
22. Changes to This Privacy Policy
Olden may change its features, technologies, service providers, or data practices over time. We may therefore update this Privacy Policy when appropriate.
When material changes are made, we will update the Effective Date and may provide additional notice through the App or another appropriate channel. The latest version of this Privacy Policy will be available at https://inovetix.com/olden/privacy and will govern your use of Olden after it becomes effective.
